TiviMate is an IPTV player for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV with a grid-style TV guide. Install it, add your playlist as an Xtream Codes login or M3U link, and it builds the channel list and programme guide. TiviMate contains no channels. Its paid upgrade unlocks app features only, never content.

What is TiviMate?

TiviMate IPTV Player is published on Google Play by Armobsoft FZE. Its listing describes support for “M3U, Xtream Codes, Stalker Portal” playlists, a “TV guide (EPG)” grid, multiple playlists, favourites, catch-up, recording, parental controls and multiview (Google Play).

The listing is explicit about content: TiviMate “is a media player only and does not provide any content… To watch anything, you must add your own playlists.”

Installing TiviMate

On Android TV and Google TV

Open Google Play on the TV, search for “TiviMate IPTV Player”, check that the developer is Armobsoft FZE, and install it.

On Fire TV

If the app isn’t in the Amazon Appstore for your device, it has to be sideloaded with the Downloader app, as in our Firestick guide. Only download the installer from the developer’s official source. Copies on file-sharing sites, especially “premium unlocked” versions, are a common way to spread malware.

Adding a playlist

  1. Open TiviMate and choose “Add playlist”

On first launch the app asks for a playlist straight away.

  2. Pick the login type

Choose Xtream Codes if you have a username, password and server, or M3U playlist if you have one long link. Xtream Codes also loads on-demand content and the guide automatically.

  3. Enter the details exactly

Server addresses need the http:// prefix and port number as given. Typing mistakes cause most sign-in failures. See fixing authentication errors.

  4. Name the playlist and finish

TiviMate downloads the channel list and groups. Large playlists can take a minute.

Setting up the TV guide

With Xtream Codes, the guide usually loads on its own. With an M3U link, add the guide (EPG) address in the playlist settings, then refresh it. If some channels stay empty, their broadcaster may not publish guide data. The M3U playlist guide explains how guide data matches channels.

What does TiviMate Premium include?

TiviMate offers in-app purchases, and its listing states that “any paid subscription or premium upgrade unlocks application features only; it does not include, or provide access to, any channels, streams, or media content” (Google Play). Premium pricing and the exact feature split change over time, so check them in the app or on TiviMate’s official website rather than relying on third-party blogs. Several unofficial sites quote conflicting prices.

Settings worth looking for

Menu names change between versions, so treat these as things to look for rather than exact labels:

  • Favourites: add your main channels to a favourites group so you don’t scroll a long list.
  • Guide update interval: refresh the EPG daily so “now and next” stays accurate.
  • Playback buffer: if channels stall briefly, a larger buffer can help (see buffering fixes).
  • Hide unused groups: hiding countries or categories you never watch speeds up browsing.

Common TiviMate problems
